The information on the food value or vitamin content was interesting and informative. We tried three of the recipes so far and all were good. Like most recipes books some of the recipes sounded better to us than others, but the variety was good, so everyone should be able to find something that meets their tastes in 40 Juicing Recipes for Weight Loss and Healthy Living.

It’s free and has a few tasty juices included I am only giving this read 2 stars because it lacks in many ways (adding refined sugars is never a healthy idea) but it’s a free start if you are new to juicing. I found 2 combo’s I’m going to try though so it was worth glancing through.

it was amazing I have a new mini blender that makes just enough for two smoothies at a time, so I make up a batch and drink one and save one for the next day. My daughter keeps me supplied with fresh (frozen) blueberries and I enjoy exploring recipes for different combinations. Smoothies are a good way to get the vitamins that I need at age 96. I have tried about eight or nine of the recipes in 40 Juicing Recipes for Weight Loss and Healthy Living to get fresh juice for my smoothie recipes. I think using fresh I have a new mini blender that makes just enough for two smoothies at a time, so I make up a batch and drink one and save one for the next day. I bought a juicer sometime ago and really enjoy using it. It easy to clean and makes a good quantity of juice. I download, 40 recipes for weight loss and healthy living by Jenny Allen (free at the time of writing this) This is an American book so I am not sure that here in the UK we can get all the ingredients for some of the 40 recipes that are listed. But with a bit of imagination it’s possible to substitute some things and still get a refreshing drink. I have a saying if in doubt use an apple. The thing I liked best about this book is that the recipes are laid out nicely, and it tells you the weight loss and health benefits of each ingredients. And there are loads! Strawberries and Beetroot are high in antitoxins, and packed full of vitamins. Herbs such as parsley aid digestion and are low fat. There are fruit juices recipes and vegetable juices recipes. Ones you get the hang of making juice, it’s quite nice to make up your own. I like to mix fruit and veg together. A nice mixture is apple, beetroot, celery, orange and a carrot. That your 5 a day in one glass! I have found that a glass of juice is quite filling, although some mixes I have made on my own have not been so easy to swallow and I have washed them down with a packet of biscuits. LOL.   • dinner — steamed fish salad with carrot, yogurt 0% fat (1 tbsp.).

Friday

  • Breakfast – oatmeal with berries, oranges and yogurt (1 tbsp.);
  • lunch – beef cutlet steamed with steamed vegetables, a medium-sized Apple;
  • dinner – mixed salad with chicken breast (cut the meat into strips, mix with shredded cucumber, Apple and orange, season with low-fat yogurt (1tbsp. L.)).

Saturday

  • Breakfast – yogurt with 2% fat content (1 item), slice of toast (rye bread) and 1/2 a small pineapple;
  • dinner – steamed cabbage with carrots and Pollock, the second part of the pineapple;
  • dinner – a serving of nonfat cottage cheese with berries, grapefruit.

Sunday

  • Breakfast steam omelet (2 eggs), an Apple;
  • lunch – boiled meat Turkey with coleslaw (add celery and green peas);
  • dinner – natural yoghurt with no additives, orange and walnuts (3 PCs.).

Option # 2

Monday

  • morning – boiled rice, coffee without sugar and green Apple;
  • day – steam omelette (beat 4 eggs with 100 ml of milk with a fat content of 1.5%), vegetable cuts (cucumber, tomato, leafy greens), unsweetened tea;
  • evening – boiled eggs (2 PCs), sparkling water and green tea.

Tuesday

  • morning – rice with grated on a fine grater green Apple, coffee;
  • day – boiled beef (250 g), tomatoes and herbal tea;
  • evening seaweed and braised beef (150 g).

Environment

  • morning – buckwheat with kefir (pre-pour a portion of cereal nonfat yogurt), natural coffee without sugar;
  • day – boiled chicken breast with the vegetable rolls (sweet pepper, cucumber, tomato, dressing not to use), tea;
  • tonight – broccoli and chicken for a couple before going to bed drink grapefruit juice (1 tbsp.).

Thursday

  • morning – oatmeal, orange or Apple, coffee or tea;
  • day – 250 g beef (stewed or boiled), seaweed and water.
  • evening – chicken braised in a slow cooker, tomatoes. At night you can eat a green Apple or grapefruit.

Friday

  • morning – oatmeal, drenched with boiling water, tea or coffee;
  • day – sea fish for a couple (it is better to choose low-fat types), any fresh vegetables (exclude potatoes), tea with 1 tbsp. low fat milk;
  • evening – scrambled eggs in a double boiler (1 tbsp. milk and 3 eggs), cabbage salad with tomato and cucumber. Grapefruit juice before bed, as desired.

Saturday

  • morning – herbal tea and boiled rice, a few pieces of kiwi;
  • the day – vegetable salad and seafood, tea or coffee with milk;
  • the evening boiled chicken (no skin) and steamed zucchini.

Sunday

  • morning – porridge, half of an orange and coffee with milk;
  • the day – beef and green beans (0,5 banks), you can use canned, tea;
  • evening – home-made yoghurt and grapefruit.

On the last day you can also do the unloading at the molokochae – during the day drink 1 liter of this drink.

For 30 days

7 day nutrition program can serve as a basis for the development of diet menu Inna Volovicheva for a month.
